• Helen:​

  • Description: Don's fiancee, a Screwball Comedy-style leading lady.  A little flighty but smart.

  • Casting: Female, mid 20's to mid 40's.

• Nat:​

  • Description: Proprietor of a Vermont B&B, with a friendly exterior and a dark, angry interior a la Lewis Black.

  • Casting: Any race / gender.  Any age in 30's and up.

• Gloria:​

  • Description: A quintessential femme fatale.  Seductive mobile phone app developer.

  • Casting: Female.  Any race.  Age mid 20's to mid 40's.

• B&B Maid/restaurant waitstaff/restaurant patrons/scarf store clerk/social media ghosts: ​

  • Description: B&B help, restaurant server, scarf store clerk, social media apparition.

  • Casting: Any race / gender / age

  • May be covered by Helen, Gloria & Nat actors.

• Jake:​

  • Description: Smooth talking optometrist, formerly a writer & producer of musical theater in same college as Stan.

  • Casting: Any race.  Male, aged 40 or over.

• Stan:  ​

  • Description: High-strung psychiatrist, formerly a writer & composer of politically aware musical theater in college.

  • Casting: Any race / gender / age.

• Daughter

  • Description: Jake's daughter, late teens, smart, snarky.​

  • Casting: Ideally, same race as Jake.  Female, plays late teens.
