• Don Birnam:​

  • Description: Quintessential film noir anti-hero. Ad man and writer who is addicted to his phone. 

  • Casting: Male, mid 20's - late 40's.

• Helen:​

  • Description: Don's fiancee, a Screwball Comedy-style leading lady.  Enjoys finding retail sales.

  • Casting: Female, mid 20's to mid 40's.

• Nat:​

  • Description: Proprietor of a Vermont B&B, with a friendly exterior and a dark, angry interior a la Lewis Black.

  • Casting: Any race / gender.  Any age over mid 30's.

• Gloria:​

  • Description: A quintessential femme fatale.  Seductive mobile phone app developer.

  • Casting: Female.  Any race.  Age mid 20's to mid 40's.

• Maid/restaurant waitstaff/restaurant patrons/scarf store clerk: ​

  • Description: B&B help, restaurant server, scarf store clerk, social media apparition

  • Casting: Any race / gender / age

  • May be covered by Helen, Gloria & Nat actors.
